Stanley Baldwin Ashtead Potters David Low Ashtray

This rare Ashtead Potters ashtray depicts a cartoon by political cartoonist Sir David Alexander Cecil Low. It is of the patented Cho-Kr shape and shows Stanley Baldwin as a boxing master of ceremonies. The colour of the item is 'buff' which is rarer than the usual ivory white glaze used for these pieces.

The ashtray has the Ashtead Potters mark along with the 'circle' date code whch is thought to indicate 1930.

The ashtray is in excellent condition. A great political item and rare too.
